Biography of the author
Carlo discovered his passion for gastronomy at the age of fifteen. After graduating from the hotel management school Alexis Heck in Diekirch, he obtained his master’s certificate. Starting in 1993, he served as team manager of the national chef team for eight years, and since 1998 he has been a jury member of the World Federation of Chefs. For 23 years now, Carlo Sauber has been passing on his knowledge and enthusiasm to young chefs at the Lycée Technique de Bonnevoie. With the classic cookbook Ketty Thull, he preserves the traditional Luxembourgish recipes from 1937 and brings them modernly into our today’s kitchen.
